Biography – Early Life & Career
Pearl V Puri was born on 10 July 1989 (age 31 years in 2021) in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, India. He studied up to 6th grade from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Public School, Chhindwara.
Then he shifted to Agra with his family, Pearl completed his schooling from Ragendra Swarup Public School, Agra. He is very fond of music since childhood. When he was in 12 years old, he used to listen to songs by Kailash Kher.
As a result, he was inspired to write a number of songs and later started singing songs and composing music. After schooling, he studied at St. John’s College in Agra for completed his MBA in correspondence.
How did Pearl become an actor?
When Pearl was in the 10th grade, he fell in love with a girl. His girlfriend was a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan, so she wanted to make him an actor. Pearl has no interest in becoming an actor but had to become an actor due to his girlfriend.
Pearl flees from his home to Mumbai to become an actor. When he moved from Agra to Mumbai, he had no money for surviving in Mumbai. Once, he had to starve for 9 days.
In Mumbai, where Pearl was struggling to find work in films. He was getting many TV shows offers, but his GF wanted to see him as a film actor like SRK.
Now somehow he got a chance to work in a film but that film never released. Then he got a chance to work in another film, the shooting of which was stopped in half. Now Pearl was very disappointed because despite many struggles he was not getting any special success.
But in the meantime, his father’s accident happened and his sister was also going to get married. So he had to return to Agra due to being the only son. Where he took over his father’s business for about a year and a half, and in the meantime, his father fully recovered.
Acting Career
In 2013, Pearl came back to Mumbai again and now he decided to work in TV shows instead of working in films. He made her TV debut with Sony TV’s show Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat. Now perhaps this is the reason why their 9-year relationship ended, that is, he had a breakup with a school girlfriend.
Then, two years later (2015), he got a chance to play the lead role in Star Plus’s television program Phir Bhi Na Maane … Badtameez Dil. The show was a huge hit as Pearl’s role in it was heavily related to his real life and also he earned that fame for which he had come to Mumbai.
In 2016, Pearl starred in Zee TV’s family drama show Meri Saasu Maa. Where he played the character of Satyendra Sharma “Sattu“.
After this, he has entertained the people by acting in many other TV shows like Naagarjuna – Ek Yoddha, Naagin 3, Bepanah Pyaar & Brahmarakshas 2.
Apart from the TV shows, Pearl also gave his voice in Peerh Meri (also he write lyrics and compose music of the song) music videos under T Series banner.
